September 06, 2012 – Westminster, MD – The Carroll Business Path announces the scheduling of The Launchbox® at The Miller Center for Small Business. The Launchbox® is a three day program that covers marketing strategy, branding, public relations, social marketing and optimization, through the use of daily assignments and group review. Teaming with Westminster-based marketing firm Sonata Venture Solutions, LLC, The Launchbox® workshop will be offered beginning October 9th; two additional sessions will be held on October 23rd and 30th.

“Being able to help small businesses understand the complexities of marketing, branding, public relations and product launch has driven us to develop The Launchbox®. Business owners will work in a collaborative environment to understand, execute and measure their marketing efforts” shared Laura Meck, CEO Sonata Venture Solutions, LLC.

“Our goal for this program is to support Carroll firms – whether they are launching a business, service or product. Together, with our Carroll Business Path partners, we provide access to resources and programs like The Launchbox® for small businesses to build confidence, knowledge and experience. And, it is especially beneficial when we can enlist the expertise of local firms to accomplish those goals”, commented Jon Weetman, Carroll County Small Business Navigator.

The Launchbox® is offered at a reduced rate of $125 for Carroll firms. Business owners complete an application which is located on the economic development website www.carrollbiz.org and forward it to Jon Weetman at navigator@carrollbusinesspath.org for review and acceptance.
